Our modular approach allows chillers to be added to the central system easily without shutting down the existing system. Each modular chiller comes with dual compressors and dual refrigeration circuits for redundancy and water headers are easily couple to the chiller beside it. In large injection molding plants or plants requiring 85° F (29° C) water, cooling tower systems may be purchased at the same time as the chilling system.
Our central chillers are available in four different configurations: indoor water cooled, indoor air cooled, outdoor air cooled and remote condenser air cooled and all are available with Dual Scroll compressors, or Single Screw compressors. The modular chillers offer a system that can be easily expanded, take up minimal plant floor space and can be serviced in place without shutting down the rest of the chiller system.

1. Three different types of refrigeration compressors to choose from, Scroll, Rotary Screw and Semi-hermetic Reciprocating compressors for low temperature chillers only.
2. Three different types of Freon 410A, 134a and 448A/449A for low temperature chillers. New Freons to follow soon in our chillers.
3. Temperature range for standard chillers 20° F (-6.6° C) to 70° F (21° C), low temperature chillers from 15 F (-9.4 C) down to -45° F (-42.5 C).
4. All chillers are factory run tested and shipped with a full charge of Freon, the condenserless and condensing units are pressure tested and electrically tested and shipped a holding charge of nitrogen
1. Water Cooled Chillers:
There are two types of water-cooled central chillers to choose from: Our new modular WC030DZV – WC140DZV dual Scroll compressor chillers with dual refrigeration circuits and the WX060SSY – WX125SSY single high efficiency Rotary Screw compressor chillers with single refrigeration circuit. Both types use a smart microprocessor-based control system.
2. Outdoor Air Cooled:
There is one type of outdoor air-cooled modular chiller to consider: Our modular AC030DZV –AC080DZV dual Scroll compressor chillers with dual refrigeration circuits all with a smart microprocessor-based control system with a door mounted key pad display with icons showing the chillers operation and displaying operating and fault conditions in English.
All models are available with fan fan speed control to 0° F operation or flooded condenser to -25° F for head pressure control during the winter months.
3. Remote Air Cooled:
There are two types of remote condenser air cooled central chillers to choose from: Our WCLX020DZV to WCLX85DZV with dual Scroll compressors with dual refrigeration circuits and WCL060SSY to WCL120SSY single Rotary Screw compressor chillers with single refrigeration circuit. Both operate with the TRAC Remote Air Cooled Condensers. All models are available with single or refrigeration circuits, fan cycling, fan speed control to 0° F operation or flooded condenser to -25° F for head pressure control during the winter months and a smart microprocessor-based control system with door mounted key pad display.
