Dec 2020 – The picture above shows one of the two tanks supplied in this hydroponics business, one is for chilled water that operates at 40° F and one is for the hot water that operates at 125° F.
In the picture you see a three pump manual stand-by pump chilled water or hot water pump tank system. The pumps on the outside edges are the process pump and the other is the chilled water or hot water pumps, with the one in the middle as the stand-by pump. The stand-by is sized the same as the larger process pump and is connected to the other pumps via a discharge header.
This picture shows a “manual system” since you have to manually swing the stand-by pump to either the process or chilled/hot pump by adjusting the valves on the discharge header. We also offer a four pump automatic swing system as well.
Either stand-by pump system will help you avoid any down time due to pump breakdowns like seal leaks or pump motor failures.
